This English text is provided for convenience. The French version is the legally binding one.
1. Acceptance of these terms
Welcome to FTC (“the app”, “we”). By creating an account, accessing or using the app, you accept these Terms of use as well as the community rules set out below. If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the app.
FTC is a space for culture, not for hate. These rules exist so the community stays safe and respectful.
Zero tolerance
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Hateful content, harassment, spam and threats are forbidden. Any reported content is reviewed within 24 hours and removed if necessary; abusive accounts are banned.
2. User-generated content
The app lets you publish comments, reviews, tips and lists (“user content”). You are solely responsible for the content you publish. By publishing, you confirm that you have the right to do so and that the content does not breach the rules below.
In particular, you may not publish content that:
- incites hatred or discrimination (origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, etc.);
- harasses, threatens or intimidates another person;
- is violent, sexually explicit or shocking;
- is spam, a scam or unsolicited advertising;
- impersonates another person or infringes their rights.
3. Reporting and blocking
Every piece of content and every user can be reported or blocked from within the app:
- Report — flag any content that breaks these rules; it is reviewed within 24 hours.
- Block — block a user so you never see their content again.
We reserve the right to remove any content and to suspend or ban any account that breaches these terms, without prior notice.
4. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for any activity carried out from your account. You must be of the legal age required in your country to use the app. You can delete your account at any time from the settings.
5. Intellectual property
The app, its brand, its design and its editorial content belong to FTC. You keep the rights to the content you publish, but you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it within the app as part of its operation.
6. Limitation of liability
The app is provided “as is”. Events, places and information are curated to the best of our ability but may change; we do not guarantee their accuracy. To the extent permitted by law, FTC cannot be held liable for damages resulting from the use of the app or from content published by users.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, you will be asked to accept them again in the app. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
8. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by French law. For any question, abuse report or request, write to us at hive.ftc@gmail.com.
